Comprehensive Wellness Exams

Since pets can’t tell us how they feel, preventative wellness exams are crucial to maintaining your pet’s health and quality of life. Our vets are very thorough and take their time when giving your pet their comprehensive wellness examination. Our vets strive to make you and your pet feel comfortable during the visit. They work with you to understand what your pet’s health needs are, and they spend time considering what changes in diet, lifestyle, supplements, or any other suggestions can be made to help your pet live a healthy, happy life.

What’s Included?

First, we will discuss your pet’s medical history and current overall well-being. We will talk about lifestyle, diet, any medications, and behavior issues your pet might have. We do this first so that we can take plenty of time to introduce ourselves to your cat or dog, making a point not to rush so that your pet feels more comfortable with us.

We then perform a head-to-tail assessment examining the eyes, ears, heart, lungs, skin, abdomen, lymph nodes, and teeth. During the examination, we will review and highlight any concerns we find or things to consider. If your pet is looking healthy, we will let you know that right away!
