What to expect
Before you leave home
If your pet gets anxious and we've seen them before, we can prescribe a medication to give at home before the visit, so they arrive calmer.
Arriving
Cats and dogs are kept apart from the moment you check in.
The exam itself
We examine your pet wherever they're most comfortable, whether that's the floor, your lap or a towel from home. We work at their pace.
If it isn't going well
We stop and try again another day, often with medication to help. We won't force it.

We do heart ultrasounds right here, so you don't have to go to a specialty hospital. Every one comes with a report from a board-certified cardiologist. An echocardiogram is its own appointment, so please call us to schedule it.
